Christmas Already

Well not much is happening at the Hosner house. Football is over with a disapointing loss to Cottonwood, Thanksgiving was gone in a flash, and we are now moving on to Christmas. I saw a framed picture that stated "Simplify Christmas and Celebrate Christ" It summed up my feelings about this year. With the crazy economy I have really taken a deeper look at all of my blessings: family, friends, education, prayer, scripture, health, Ray, my amazing children and the list could go on and on.
Ray: Is working hard at school and the trailer store. He is also thinking about starting a 5 month quarterback camp for all the parents who have asked him to help their future quarterbacks.
Kaden: Had a great football season. He didn't get as many passes as he would have liked but he learned a lot, made some amazing blocks, and is excited for next year. He will be starting city league basketball and is plugging along in school with me nagging right behind him. He hopes to get a job and a car soon. He is a great big brother and I am so proud of him everytime I watch him bless the sacrement. I can't belive he will be a senior next year and ready to prepare for a mission. (I can't be that old)
Bladen: Is also starting city league basketball and had "A's" in every class but math. He is never home, never clean, never matches, but always sweet The same old Bladen!!!
Brooklyn: Is learning to write and writes us the nicest letters. She wrote a letter to Bladen that said, "I love you so much but sometimes you forgets you loves me." How sad is that? I hope that made Bladen stop and think about how he treats his sister. Brooklyn is also taking dancing and you can find a dance resital going at our house almost every night of the week.

Nothing new to report. The Panthers are doing well and have one more regain game against Snow Canyon.

Brooklyn performed in the Desert Hills High football game half time(Crazy I Know) with the cheer leading clinic and called to let me know that she was the best one out there. She attended the game with the Peterson's so that I could watch PV beat Dixie.

I have been walking every morning at 6 with a neighbor (Holly Hansen) I hope the cold weather doesn't keep me in bed!!! which isn't hard to do.

Bladen is getting strait "A" except math. Those darn tests

Kaden on the other hand still doesn't get the whole study thing! This kid

Ray is driving me crazy as usual. He is never home, always late and still doesn't know where the dish washer or the laundry basket is. Please tell me I will have a full time maid in heaven!!!!!!

Football Season

I can't believe we are well on our way to another PV football season, but we are. Ray and Kaden's team (the Pine View Panthers) are doing great with 4 wins and 1 loss. Kaden caught a beautiful pass in Canyon View traffic, but the touch down pass still alludes him. I have a feeling homecoming will be the game. I will keep you posted

Bladen's team has won 1 and lost 2, but they are getting better all the time. Bladen has run back one kick off 10 yards short of the goal line and another for 30 yards. But his specialty is still laying the wood on people, and he hasn't disappointed this year.

Brooklyn is just happy to cheer and run around until she is old enough to play. I told her she could play flag but I draw the line at tackle. She is still full of %$#* and vinegar. Her latest LOL are "my hair is short and sexy not short and sassy!"
"when we where in Las Vegas there was naked lady pictures hanging on the power poll. My dad hid my eyes so I couldn't see them, but he stared at them!" There are no secrets in the Housner house. I shudder to think what she has told her school and primary teachers.

All is good with me, but I wish I had about 4 more hours in a day and the energy the energy to go with them. I am back to work, which is good in that I have my own money!!!!!! bad in that I never get to go to the gym or have a minute to myself. I am shooting for part time next year. Will see what happens, but with this economy at least teaching is a sure thing. I also turned 40 and have not completly come to turms with it yet!! I am not sure I ever will.

Thats all for now! Hope all is well with you

About Me

Things that bring me joy are; Lake Powell, traveling with my family (when we have the money and the time),visiting with friends and neighbors,a long hard day of physical labor, curling up with a good book or movie on a rainy day with cookies baking in the oven, sleeping in freshly washed sheets, hanging out in my PJ's all day. My frustrations in this life are;a dirty house, small budget, and not having a personal chief or cleaning lady (see small budget).
